*Please note Kindergarten classes start later and end a week earlier than other Eagle River Homeschool Classes.

**Registration reserves your place in a class. Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email from the class instructor within the next few days. All payments will be conducted through the instructor directly.

    Kindergarten will meet for 25 classes Fall Semester

  • This class is a literature-based kindergarten experience that will focus on one early childhood book a week. Learning centers, art projects, and science activities will all center around the book and theme. This class is based on an early literature curriculum that I love with some extra fun added in!

    Our class time will allow for language arts learning, social and community skills development, independence building, fine and gross motor skill exercises, and a safe, fun environment to stretch those kindergarten wings! Days will include circle time, learning centers, independent learning activities, art projects, gross motor activities, music, lunch, and friends!

    We will meet each week on Monday and Wednesday. Having class twice a week builds a consistent routine, allows students to build strong friendships, and increases student confidence and academic progress.

    *This program is designed to supplement and enrich at-home learning. Language Arts will be the primary focus and include handwriting, phonics, word work, and quality literature. At-home activities will be sent home for each book. With the completion of the at-home activities, this class will cover a full language arts curriculum. This class will also touch on other subjects, but not completely cover them. Parents should plan to teach other core subjects at home. (A full Math curriculum will need to be taught at home).

  • Students will need:

    Backpack, extra set of clothes in a ziplock (to keep in their backpack), inside shoes (preferably hard-soled, not slippers), and lunch each day.

    Students will need to bring appropriate clothing to go outside (jacket, gloves, snow pants).

  • This class is not graded. Student work can be used as samples., Students will create a journal we work on daily that will come home at the end of the semester. These can be used as work samples if needed. Class activities will come home daily.

  • Full payment is required during the first week of classes if paying via check. A receipt will be issued for reimbursement purposes. This vendor is an ASD Vendor and all payments are fully reimbursable with Family Partnership and Frontier. This vendor can direct bill IDEA. More charter schools coming soon!
